City of Eureka

Strategically located on the Pacific Rim, Eureka has the western-most port in the United States. It is the largest coastal town in California north of San Francisco. The City of Eureka has a population of approximately 27,000 but services a greater Eureka area of over 50,000. Eureka's coastal climate is mild and consistent with a temperature range from low 50's in the winter to 60's in the summer. This climate gives way to a lush green landscape to enjoy throughout the entire year.

Eureka: the History

In the City of Eureka, in the County of Humboldt, in the State of California, there await golden opportunities.

Bustling into Western history during the famous California Gold Rush, the City of Eureka thrived for many years on the area's rich abundance of redwood timber. Quickly establishing itself as the commercial hub of the North Coast, Eureka fused a stunning array of Victorian architecture with the rugged beauty of the Northwest to create a truly unique community. Now, the raw pioneer spirit that grabbed opportunity at every chance has evolved into a more sophisticated version--a version that looks at the new-century demands of tomorrow.

Eureka offers a choice opportunity for a wide scope of developments: industrial, residential, tourist, retail, office, waterfront, and service industries. We invite you to participate in the vision and celebrate your claim to the gold that awaits you here in Eureka, Land of Opportunity.
