ELECTIONS INFORMATION
2005 SPECIAL ELECTION

A Special Election for state-wide ballot measures will be held November 8, 2005. No ballot measures, nor candidates for elective offices for the City of Eureka will be on the 2005 ballot. For more information regarding the November 2005 Special Election, go to the Secretary of State's Election Information website.

An easy-to-read guide for the November 8, 2005 Special Election is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese at "easyvoter.org"

2004 ELECTION INFORMATION
At the November 2, 2004 General Municipal Election in the City of Eureka the following City officers were elected:

Virginia Bass-Jackson - City Council, 2nd Ward
Chris Kerrigan - City Council, 4th Ward

The Council-elect were issued the Oath of Office for their second terms December 7, 2004.

      OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS - November 2, 2004:
Ward 2
Virginia Bass-Jackson 8750 votes 96.93 %
Write-in 277 votes 03.07 %
Total Ward 2 9027 votes 100 %
Ward 4
Chris Kerrigan (incumbent) 6857 votes 59.46 %
Rex Bohn 4659 votes 40.40 %
Write-in 17 votes 00.15 %
Total Ward 4 11,533 votes 100 %

2003 ELECTION INFORMATION
There were no municipal elections held for the City of Eureka in the year 2003.

2002 ELECTION INFORMATION
At the November 5, 2002 General Municipal Election in the City of Eureka the following City officers were elected:

Peter La Vallee - Mayor
Mary Beth Wolford - City Council, 1st Ward
Jeff Leonard - City Council, 3rd Ward
Mike Jones - City Council, 5th Ward

The Mayor and Council-elect were installed in their respective offices December 3, 2002.
