BOARD and COMMISSION VACANCIES

The City of Eureka invites interested citizens to apply for appointments to City Boards and Commissions.
Board and Commission Vacancies as of November 16, 2005
Applications for appointment to boards and commissions will be accepted until filled.

Application forms may be obtained from the Mayor's Office, Room 208, City of Eureka, 531 "K" Street, Eureka, CA 95501, or call (707) 441-4172 to receive by mail or fax.

In order to be eligible for appointment to any board or commission, a person must be a qualified registered elector of the City of Eureka, the Humboldt Community Services District, or be the owner of a business located within the city limits of the City of Eureka. Pursuant to the Eureka Charter, members shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Council.

Members on Boards and Commissions serve as a community service and without compensation.

No member of any board or commission may hold any paid office or employment in the city government.
