Sequoia Park Trail

As you follow the inviting trails through beautiful groves of virgin redwood trees, along the duck pond and through the meadow you'll never imagine you're only three miles from bustling Old Town Eureka. The trails are developed, with stairways, bridges and corduroy roads to make them easily passable in all conditions.

The trail from Glatt St to the park entrance and the meadow trail (follow the access road to the bottom of the ravine) are paved and suitable for strollers and wheel chairs.

Directions:

Sequoia Park and Zoo is on W Street south of Harris Street. Access Harris from Highway 101/Broadway at the Bayshore Mall, from I Street from Old Town, or from Myrtle Avenue via Harrison Street. Follow Harris (one-way street east of I Street) to W and turn right (south). The park and zoo are two blocks down on your right. There is parking inside the Park with access to the may trails.

You can also access the Park from trail heads at O Street 2 blocks south of Hodgson, from Hodgson just west of P Street and from Glatt at T Street.
