The Humboldt Literacy Project joins the concerned employers to offer General Literacy and English as a second Language classes at the learner's place of work. Every program is tailored to the particular workplace. The employees goals and the employers needs are considered in the curriculum development. Most instructional periods are held at the workplace during lunch breaks. Those involved in the literacy program are rewarded through pay or other workplace incentives by their employers |
